The Arlene Goslee Knowles scrapbooks document the experience of a young woman coming of age during World War II, 1943-1949. The scrapbooks focus on religious and social events in Sharptown, Maryland; within the scrapbooks, there are birth, wedding, graduation and death announcements. The collection also conveys how an American woman during this period, engages and finds global interconnections. There is ephemera related to her brother, John Goslee’s service in World War II. Additionally, there is material related to relationships she developed with other Methodists in South East Asia. The scrapbooks contain church programs, newspapers, photographs, postcards and ephemera related to Arlene’s life.

The collection includes digitized newspaper clippings and photos from Mr. Griffith's baseball career from spanning from 1953-1961. Also included is a digitized copy of Mr. Griffith's application to be inducted into the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 as well as a the copy of the program from the induction event.
